The qualification requirements needed for participation in a procurement is referred to as evaluation criteria. There are typically 3 types of evaluation criteria:
- Mandatory - scored as pass or fail basis
- Rated - scored on a point system (e.g. 0-10)
- Pricing
If you are able to meet the mandatory requirements, you will be eligible to make a submission. Vendors that do not meet these requirements, will be eliminated prior to further evaluation of their submissions. If the evaluation criteria are unclear or absent, please request clarification from the procurement contact.
