If your insurance company sent you your certificate as an attachment in an email you can upload the pdf document. If you did not receive your insurance document via email you can scan it or simply take a photo of the document. DVDL only needs the page containing the name of insurance company, the policy or certificate number, the issue date and expiration date, and the registration plate number of the vehicle.
