Who has the right to access identification information in the register:
- A registered person
- A person in respect of whom the registered person has delegated authority
- A public authority or private entity with a legitimate interest
Who’s the delegated Authority?
A delegated authority is an individual, other than the registered person, who is given permission to access and utilize the information in the register.
Examples of delegated authorities include:
- A parent or guardian acting on behalf of a minor.
- An individual granted power of attorney for the registered person.
- A person authorized through legislation or a court order.
The individuals or entity mentioned above can access the register to view information by following the steps outlined in the article titled "My Info – How to View My Info."
