How to obtain an Apostilled document from General Registry

  1. Purchase the documents and courier service
    • Visit www.ciregistry.ky/online-tools site to purchase the document(s)
    • Select the option to have the documents couriered, specifying the address to which they will be sent.
    • Note in the comments box that the documents must be Apostilled.
    • Pay General Registry for the documents and courier service online.
  2. Pay for Apostille Service
    • Send $182.93USD per document to the Corporate Services office using the Wire Transfer instructions below.
    • Notify the Corporate Services office (Corporate@gov.ky) that the payment has been made and to expect the documents to be received from General Registry.

Wire Transfer Instructions

The cost of an Apostille is CI$150 for each document, but for a wire transfer the equivalent amount must be sent in US$. The US$ equivalent (and 0.82) is US$182.93 per document. You should add US$7.50 per wire transfer to cover the Cayman Islands bank charges, plus any fees owed by the sending and intermediary banks.

For one document the total charge is $182.93 + $7.50 = $190.43, plus any fees charged by the sending and intermediary banks.
